Ingredients

  • Ginger root (or 1 tablespoon ginger ground)
  • Turmeric root (or 1 tablespoon turmeric ground)
  • Boiling water
  • Teapot or French press
  • Some honey or Nabat (Persiansugar) to sweeten the taste

Instructions

  • Pout the fresh ginger and turmeric roots in the container.
  • Pour boiling water on them
  • Heat them for 30 minutes or more to brew
  • Sift it and pour it into a cup and serve it with honey

Notes

Uniqop’s Advice:

  • You can use this recipe to make a turmeric latte by using milk instead of water
  • It is better to use honey to sweeten the taste instead of anything else.
  • If you are drinking it because you are sick, add some lemon juice to enhance the vitamin C.
